Isolation facility not mandatory for Covid positive foreign arrivals

Travellers arriving in India from any country, including at-risk countries who test positive for COVID-19 shall be treated/isolated as per the laid down standard protocol and will not mandatorily be managed at an isolation facility, authorities said. According to the recently released guidelines for International Arrivals, the new norm will apply from January 22 till further order. The revised guidelines removed the cause that mandated staying at an isolation facility upon arrival. The rest of the provisions remain the same.
