The new ruling includes travellers from both at-risk and non-risk countries. The state govt tweaked their previous guidelines after data revealed that the bulk of Tamil Nadu’s 34 reported Omicorn cases are passengers from countries classified as non-risk. Only 6% of the state Omicorn cases are from at-risk countries while 25% come from non-risk, said the Health Dept of Tamil Nadu.
